Terms

For renting a ClustARK Private server.

Who runs ClustARK

ClustARK is run by Based Things, ABN 79 296 198 550. Based Things is the registered business name of a sole trader in South Australia.

Postal address for documents: PO Box 51 Glenelg SA 5045.

What we sell

We rent out private ARK: Survival Ascended servers, called ClustARK Private.

Prices are in Australian dollars and include tax. You see the price before you pay.

Payments are taken by Link, Stripe’s payment service, which sells to you on our behalf. Your receipt comes from Link, and your bank statement shows LINK.COM* CLUSTARK. Link may show the amount in your own currency.

Two ways to pay

Renews every 30 days. You pay when you buy, and your first 30 days start then. After that, you’re charged every 30 days. This is called auto-renew.

Pay once. You pay for a set time: 30 days for a new server, counted from when it’s ready. Nothing renews by itself.

Cancelling auto-renew

You can turn off auto-renew at any time.

Once it’s off, you won’t be charged again. You keep the days you’ve already paid for, and your server runs until they’re used up. After that, it stops unless you renew it.

To turn it off, sign in to ClustARK Web, open ClustARK Private, press Turn off auto-renew on your server, then confirm.

You can also turn it off at link.com.

Changed your mind? You can turn auto-renew back on before your paid days run out.

If you paid once, nothing renews, so there’s nothing to turn off. Your server runs to the end of its last paid day and stops at about 5 am (Sydney time) the next morning, unless you renew it.

If an auto-renew payment fails

Stripe will try your card again and email you.

Your server keeps running until its paid days are used up. Then it stops. Once the payment goes through, you can start it again.

You can pay, or change your card, from your server on ClustARK Web. If it still isn’t paid by the date shown there, the server ends.

If you turn off auto-renew while a payment is failing, it stops straight away and the unpaid charge is dropped. You can still renew by paying once, up to the date shown on your server.

Refunds

Setup usually takes about an hour after you pay. If your new server isn’t ready within 24 hours, we refund you in full. You don’t need to ask. If you chose auto-renew, it stops too.

If we take an auto-renew payment that we can’t use for your server, for example because the server has already ended, we refund it.

When a payment is refunded, the days it paid for come off your server. If you’re on auto-renew, refunding one payment doesn’t turn it off.

For anything else about a refund, open a ticket in our Discord server or on ClustARK Web, or email support@clustark.com. You can also ask Link’s support about a payment or a refund.

If you dispute a payment

If you ask your bank to take back an auto-renew payment, auto-renew stops at the end of the days you’ve paid for. While the dispute is open, you can’t turn auto-renew back on.

If your bank decides in your favour, auto-renew stops straight away and the days that payment paid for come off your server.

Your rights

Nothing on this page limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
